At Mountain Rose Herbs, we believe business should be a force for good. That’s why we’re proud to be a pilot company for the Purpose Pledge, an initiative uniting values-driven businesses in fairness, accountability, and sustainability.

What is the Purpose Pledge?

The Purpose Pledge challenges companies to balance purpose with profit, committing to ten guiding principles that ensure ethical decision making and mutual accountability. The companies involved are making a pledge to prioritize stakeholders throughout the supply chain and beyond. These stakeholders include farmers, suppliers, employees, customers, communities, and the environment.

Our Commitment

On March 6th, 2025, at Natural Products Expo West, our CEO, Cameron Stearns, spoke at the Purpose Pledge launch about why Mountain Rose Herbs plans to support this initiative. By participating in the Purpose Pledge, Mountain Rose Herbs aims to collaborate with other mission-driven companies to set a new standard for responsible business practices. This initiative aligns with the company’s longstanding dedication to organic agriculture, environmental stewardship, and ethical operations. As Cameron Stearns stated, the company is “delighted to commit to the Purpose Pledge and continue our journey towards a transparent and collaborative future that benefits both community and planet.”

When we committed to being a Purpose Pledge Pilot Company, we joined a network of forward-thinking businesses striving for a better world.
